I came to Victoria Pastry specifically to try their St. Honoré cake. I’ve been to this North Beach bakery before, but a slice of the St. Honoré looked so incredible on TikTok that I had to come give it a shot. ​The Execution: While the presentation at the counter was great, the actual execution fell short. It felt as though the cake had been sitting in the display case for a bit too long; the bottom puff pastry crust was incredibly tough and wouldn't cut through cleanly, which caused the delicate cream and choux layers above to completely collapse apart. ​The Rest: We also ordered a few other pastries from the case, and those were fine. ​Verdict: A historic neighborhood staple that is perfectly reliable if your sweet tooth needs a quick local fix, but skip the St. Honoré slice unless you know it's fresh out of the kitchen.

Absolutely the best cake of my entire life! The princess cake was bought on a Sunday for a birthday. Brought home and stored in the fridge and it didn’t go bad. We ate on it for days and it tasted as if it did the day we bought it. SO GOOD!

The tiramisu was amazing. It was so smooth and was one of the best I have had. This area is all Italian restaurants. You can sit outside. I would highly recommend. You will not regret it.

A classic Italian charm and consistently satisfying treats. It’s a great spot to slow down for a sweet break in the neighborhood. The Italian pastries and sweets are the highlight. it’s an easy recommendation if you’re in North Beach and craving good Italian pastries, sweets, coffee, and a quality croissant.

I walked up here from my cousin’s for mocha and coffee and fresh croissants. They were delicious. I really wanted to also sample some of the other beautiful pastries but didn’t have time. This is a regular stop when I visit.
